March's Selections (1 bottle each):

Réserve de la Saurine : Rosé
Languedoc-Roussillon, France
A field blend rosé consisting of Grenache, Cinsault, Carignan, and Syrah. Coral in color with white floral and honeydew melon aromas. The palate is medium bodied with flavors of red fruit and crisp green apple accompanied by vibrant acidity and a subtle dry finish. Enjoy this wine with a bowl of fresh cut strawberries.

Lago Cerqueira : Vinho Verde
Minho, Portugal
This wine has a fair golden shimmer color with a slight effervescence that favours the release of its tropical and citrus aromas. The white fruit notes of pear, peach, and apricot mingle with tropical fruit flavors of passion fruit and papaya. Open this wine when having chili-rubbed rockfish tacos with watermelon.

Zufini : Pinot Grigio
Veneto, Italy
Yellow straw in the glass with a pleasant fruity bouquet. Initial tastes bring citrus notes with a touch of maple syrup to provide a well-orchestrated and round flavor enhanced by refreshing acidity. Medium bodied with solid structure and texture. Best matched with eggplant parmigiana.

Sentero Tinta de Toro : Tempranillo
Toro, Spain
The nose is fruity and intense, with hints of ripe red berries and a touch of licorice. The balanced palate is fleshy, elegant and
lively, slipping into a long and pleasant finish. Match with Spanish-style lamb stew with roasted red peppers.

Lago Cerqueira : Red Blend
Douro, Portugal
A blend of Tinta Barroca, Tinta Roriz, Touriga Franca, and Touriga Nacional. Aromas of bright strawberries are contrasted by deeper, dark fruited notes like prunes and blackberries with a touch of smokey cedar box and tobacco. This full bodied red and its youthful tannins, mixed with a dash of cocoa powder in the lingering finish, is the perfect pairing for a grilled steak, sprinkled with sea salt and topped with butter.

Apollonio Elfo : Negroamaro Red
Salento, Italy
This wine is light-bodied and with typical red, ripe fruit, and a persistent bouquet. Very velvety with a pleasantly bitter aftertaste. Nice acidity and food friendly
